We have decided that for our second give we will help out a great organization called "Care to Knit Inc". This non-prophet organization provides various knit items to families in need and has expanded, with knitters throughout the world. Since "Care to Knit" has become such a large group, the Bay Shore team has chosen to hold a yarn drive. As project manager, I used the calander in our Proud Girl handbooks and planned out our month. We have decorated boxes with information about proud girls and "Care to Knit" and have arranged to leave them at two or more separate places each. In order to obtain permission, we contacted the owners of shops and teachers at schools and got our friends and family to help out.
