What Makes you a PROUDgirl or woman?

By appreciating the gift of life; living each day as if it were my last, and taking advantage of all the opportunites given to me is what makes me a PROUDgirl. I tend to focus primarily on the things I am deeply passionate for and will work diligently for anything I want in life.

What makes you unique?

I believe my strong sense of optimism and humor is what makes me unique. We all face times in life when we just want to give up for what we strongly desire and turn back around, but I know the only person to prevent yourself from what you truly want is you. One could be their own worst enemy. Motivation and determination within in me is what makes me realize that I am able to conquer whatever I want as long as I set my mind to it.

What or who inspires you?

My parents have definitely inspired me in so many ways growing up and maturing in life. They have always aided me from any troubles I have faced in the past and have never failed to advise with decisions I have had to make. Teaching me to stand up for what I believe is right, even if I'm standing alone has taught me to be a leader; setting the right example to my siblings and peers. Thanks to them, I am the person who I am today; willing to seek for the best things in life, giving it all of my potential.

Things you do to be a better person.

In order to be a better person, I try to make everyone feel comfortable and be able to make themselves heard. No one deserves to be ignored, so every voice matters to me.
