What Makes you a PROUDgirl or woman?: I try everyday to embrace the gift of life and focus on things that are important to me and do good for others. I find that focusing on things I'm passionate about bring me great joy and pride and take the focus off any negativity I might have going on that day.

What makes you unique?: I think what makes me unique is that I am built on emotion which allows me to show extreme compassion for all types of people and treat everyone with respect. I believe that we are all fundamentally the same no matter what our skin color, economic status or circumstances.

What or who inspires you?: My partner Diane inspires me because of her incredible ability to stay positive always! My sister Cali, who always pushes herself to live outside the box and explore and be open to new adventures. My parents who have more stamina than most people half their age! People with disabilities who remain positive and don't let their physical challenges stop them from living a fulfilling life.

Things you do to be a better person.: Little things like helping the elderly, opening doors, asking people if they are OK, sharing a smile
