Have you ever wanted to fast foward time just to save you from dying of boredom. Well the other day, I experienced this feeling at work. It is the worst possible feeling in the world. I didn't know what to do. Then I began to think and think and think to pass time. I came up with and even used these tips (see below).

- Text your friends. Although most employers prohibit the usage of cellular phones during scheduled hours, it will preoccupy you and keep you busy. In fact, it is kind of fun playing with fire and seeing if you will get caught or not.
- Give yourself multiple different hairstyles. I've done braids, pigtails, the pebble's ponytail, half up/down, french braids and numerous other silly styles to entertain myself and sometimes even the customers.
- Sing and dance to the store's music. Who cares if random people are staring at you because you are rocking out and having a good time? You definitely shouldn't! CAUTION: If you sing out of tune, it might be best to avoid this tip.
- Doodle or write. Right now, well when I was at work, I wrote this article. I was able to kill two birds with one stone. I also drew two of my coworkers while I was doodling. They did not seem to appreciate my artwork like I was hoping.
- Actually work. This is the most productive tip and will help you get brownie points with your boss. You might even get promoted or get more hours if you follow this tip. Yet, is it fun? (NO!) So, see the tips above if this tip doesnt satisfy you.
Got any tips yourself? Please share them with us because two minds think better than one! I'd like to end this article with a quote.
